African Drums at Mondo’s Evening of Travel Stories
Journalists’ stories from Kenya, Uganda and Armenia — opened by TogoSunny’s djembe
10 September 2026
On this September evening at Mondo’s Telliskivi office, East Africa meets the Caucasus: journalists come home with notebooks full of dust, altitude and stories from Kenya, Uganda and Armenia. Before the first tale is told, and again during the interval, a djembe speaks — Senam’s hands find the drumhead, and a West African heartbeat rises quietly through the room, carrying a second continent into the evening.

On 10 September, MTÜ Mondo opens its Telliskivi office for an evening of stories: journalists share images and reflections from Kenya, Uganda and Armenia. TogoSunny brings a breath of West Africa to the room — djembe drums open the evening and carry the audience through the interval, straight into the rhythm of Togo.
