Viljandi Folk 2026
TogoSunny at the Small craft and food market, Köleri Park, Viljandi
23–26 July 2026 · Viljandi
Under the trees of Köleri Park, the soft breath of the parmupill (Estonian jaw harp) meets the silvery voice of the kannel, and pärimusmuusika drifts out over Lake Viljandi. On the market ground the deep pulse of West African djembes finds its own place in that music — the TogoSunny tent stands right at the crossing, batik cloth stirring in the breeze, waiting for whoever wanders in to listen, look and touch.

About the festival
Viljandi Folk is Estonia’s biggest and best-loved folk music festival, filling the hilltop streets of this small lakeside town every July since 1993 with concerts, dance and the hum of a whole town given over to music. Alongside the main stages, the Väike Käsitöö- ja toiduturg brings craftspeople and food producers together in Köleri Park, right where festival-goers pass on their way between concerts.
